Edstrand Technology Services was started in 2020 after seeing a huge local need for fairly priced and honest small business and home PC, Mac, and network solutions. ETS is completely grassroots, and has grown in both scope and reach, with happy clients in several states on both Windows and Mac. Today the focus is on small and midsize businesses, providing managed security and fractional security leadership backed by more than 20 years of technology leadership, including years running IT for a Wisconsin public school district and being responsible for the data and privacy of thousands of students and staff.
ETS believes small and midsize businesses deserve the same level of security protection as large enterprises, sized and priced to fit. Chad Edstrand has spent more than 20 years leading technology for schools and businesses, including years as the IT director for a Wisconsin public school district, responsible for the systems, data, and privacy of thousands of students and staff. He started ETS to bring that same discipline to small and midsize businesses. That discipline means the same things at ETS that it meant in a school district: systems that are documented, configurations that follow a standard, changes that are planned, and data that is treated like it can’t be replaced. Security comes first in every decision, and the result is a posture a business can rely on and prove, not just take on faith.
